Call It Love (Korean: 사랑이라 말해요; RR: Sarangyira Malhaeyo) is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2023. The drama was directed by Lee Gwang-Young and Kim Ji-Yeon, with a screenplay written by Kim Ga-Eun. It was distributed internationally through the streaming platform Disney+.
Plot
The story follows Sim Woo-Joo (played by Lee Sung-Kyung), whose life is upended following the death of her father. After being evicted from her home by her father's former mistress, Woo-Joo seeks revenge. Her plan involves approaching Han Dong-Jin (Kim Young-Kwang), the son of the woman who caused her family's misfortune. As she integrates herself into his life, she discovers that Dong-Jin is a workaholic who has long struggled with profound loneliness. Through their interactions, the initial desire for vengeance evolves into a complex emotional connection.
