Buzzer Beat: Gakeppuchi no Hero (Japanese: ブザー・ビート ~崖っぷちのヒーロー~) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from July 13 to September 21, 2009. The series, which consists of 11 episodes, was broadcast during the network's Monday 21:00 time slot.

Plot

The story follows the lives of Naoki Kamiya, a professional basketball player struggling with performance pressure, and Riko Shirakawa, a talented violinist who has yet to achieve professional success. Their lives intersect after a series of chance encounters, beginning with a misplaced cell phone. As they navigate their respective career challenges and personal relationships, they find mutual support and inspiration in one another.
