Plot

The story centers on Jae-Sup, a 32-year-old instructor at a night school who struggles with social detachment and personal stagnation. His life is marked by a lack of meaningful connection, save for brief encounters with a sex worker. His internal conflict is exacerbated when he attends a college reunion and learns that a former romantic interest, Hye-Kyung, is getting married, leading him to reflect on his own perceived lack of progress compared to his peers. The narrative shifts when So-Hee, a young student, enrolls in his night school class. Jae-Sup finds himself drawn to her, perceiving a shared sense of underlying pain and a complex maturity beneath her youthful exterior.
