Bujatjib Adeul

Bujatjib Adeul (Korean: 부잣집 아들), also known by its English title Rich Family's Son, is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC. The series consists of 100 episodes and was broadcast from March 25 to October 7, 2018. It occupied the Sunday 20:45 time slot, with four 35-minute episodes airing each day.

Plot

The narrative centers on Lee Gwang-Jae (played by Kim Ji-Hoon), the son of a wealthy family who is initially portrayed as immature. Following the death of his father, Gwang-Jae discovers that his family has been left with significant debts. The story follows his efforts to repay these debts to restore his father's honor. Throughout his journey, he receives support from Kim Young-Ha (played by Kim Joo-Hyun), a character noted for her bright and positive personality.

Production and Broadcast

The series was directed by Choi Chang-Wook and Sim So-Yeon, with a screenplay written by Kim Jung-Soo. It replaced the drama Man Who Sets the Table in its time slot and was succeeded by My Healing Love on October 14, 2018. During its run, the broadcast schedule was subject to adjustments; for instance, episodes 79–82 were rescheduled from August 19, 2018, to August 26, 2018, due to the coverage of the 18th Asian Games.
