Bravo, My Life! (2005 Film)
Bravo, My Life! (Korean: 사랑해, 말순씨; RR: Saranghae, Malsoonssi) is a South Korean drama film released on November 4, 2005. The film was directed by Park Heung-Sik, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Seo Jung-Min and Lee Sook-Yun.
Plot
The story is set in South Korea in October 1979, a period marked by the assassination of President Park Chung-hee. The narrative follows 14-year-old Gwang-ho as he begins junior high school. While his peers are preoccupied with football and fighting, Gwang-ho navigates his adolescence, including developing a crush on a neighbor named Eun-suk, who works as a nurse. His mother, Mal-sun, manages the household and cares for her children while her husband works abroad in Saudi Arabia, despite struggling with a persistent illness.
