Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu (2019 TV Series)
Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu (Japanese: 僕の初恋をキミに捧ぐ), known in English as Secret Unrequited Love, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi in 2019. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Kotomi Aoki, which was serialized in the magazine Shojo Comic between 2005 and 2008.
Plot
The story follows Takuma Kakinouchi (Shuhei Nomura) and Mayu Taneda (Hinako Sakurai), who formed a deep bond as children while hospitalized together. During their youth, the pair made a promise to marry each other in the future. Years later, at age 15, Takuma enrolls in a prestigious high school, only to discover that Mayu has studied intensely to attend the same institution to be near him. Despite his lingering feelings for her, Takuma attempts to distance himself from Mayu due to a childhood prognosis regarding his limited life expectancy.

The series consists of seven episodes and was broadcast on TV Asahi's Saturday 23:15 time slot. It premiered on January 19, 2019, and concluded on March 2, 2019.
