Blood and Ties (2013 Film)
Blood and Ties (Korean: 공범; RR: Gongbum) is a 2013 South Korean suspense-thriller film written and directed by Guk Dong-Suk. The film explores the psychological tension between a daughter and her father when she begins to suspect him of being involved in a cold case.

Plot
Da-Eun (Son Ye-Jin) is a young woman preparing for a career as a newspaper reporter. She shares a close, loving relationship with her father, Son-Man (Kim Kap-Soo), who has raised her with great devotion. Their lives are disrupted after Da-Eun attends a screening of a film based on a real-life, unsolved kidnapping case. The film concludes by playing the actual audio recording of the kidnapper's ransom demand. Da-Eun is struck by the resemblance between the criminal's voice and her father's, as well as the use of a specific catchphrase her father frequently employs.
Driven by doubt and horror, Da-Eun begins investigating the 15-year-old cold case, which is nearing its statute of limitations. As she digs deeper, her internal conflict intensifies, compounded by the sudden appearance of a mysterious man from her father's past.
