Black Hole (2000 South Korean Film)

Black Hole (Korean: 구멍; RR: Gumyeong) is a 2000 South Korean psychological drama film directed by Kim Kuk-Hyeong. The screenplay was written by Kim Kuk-Hyeong and is based on the 1993 novel Scarecrow by author Choi In-Ho, which was later republished under the title Black Hole in 1999.

Plot

The narrative follows a surgeon referred to as "I," who awakens in an unfamiliar environment suffering from amnesia. As he attempts to reconstruct his past, he encounters a voice recording left by a former patient and lover. The recording details unsettling accounts of his past behavior, leading him to confront a reality that appears to be a dream. His efforts to recover his lost memories only serve to draw him deeper into a psychological void.
