Birthcare Center

Birthcare Center (Korean: 산후조리원; RR: Sanhoojoriwon) is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN from November 2 to November 24, 2020. The drama consists of eight episodes and was broadcast in the Monday and Tuesday 21:00 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Oh Hyun-jin, a high-achieving executive who finds herself navigating the unfamiliar challenges of motherhood. After giving birth, she enters a specialized postnatal care center. As the oldest mother at the facility, she encounters various other women, including Jo Eun-jung, and undergoes a process of personal growth and transition into her new role as a parent.

Production

The series was directed by Park Soo-won and written by Kim Ji-soo. The initial script reading for the production took place in South Korea in May 2020. The drama succeeded Record of Youth in its time slot and was followed by the series Awaken.
