Birdie Buddy is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the cable network tvN from August 8 to October 25, 2011. The series explores the lives and professional aspirations of individuals navigating the competitive world of golf. It is based on the comic of the same name written by Chiu Seong-Hyeon and illustrated by Lee Hyeon-Se.

Plot

The narrative follows the journey of three central characters. John Lee (Lee Yong-woo) is a former professional golfer and the first Korean to win a PGA title. Despite his success, he leaves the professional circuit to work as a golf course tester. Min Hae-ryung (Lee Da-hee) is an elite golfer raised in a privileged environment, struggling with suppressed emotions and personal trauma. Sung Mi-soo (Uee) is a determined young woman from a modest background in Kangwon Province whose mother works as a caddie. Mi-soo aspires to become a professional golfer through hard work and perseverance.
