Big Forest (Korean: 빅 포레스트) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2018. The series consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast on Friday nights. It is notable for being the first tvN drama series to adopt a weekly broadcast schedule, airing one episode per week.
Plot
The story is set in the Daerim neighborhood of Seoul, an area known for its significant population of Korean-Chinese residents. The narrative follows three individuals as they navigate the challenges of daily life and financial instability:
- Shin Dong-Yub, a former top celebrity struggling to adapt to his diminished status.
- Jung Sang-Hoon, a single father working as a loan shark.
- Im Cheong-A, a Korean-Chinese single mother.
