Plot
The narrative follows Lee Dong-Sik (played by Shin Ha-Kyun), a former elite detective now relegated to mundane duties at the Manyang Police Substation in a small, quiet city. His life is disrupted by the arrival of Han Joo-Won (Yeo Jin-Goo), an ambitious and talented detective from a distinguished background whose father is a high-ranking official at the National Police Agency. When a series of murders occurs in the city—reminiscent of a cold case from 20 years prior that fundamentally altered Lee Dong-Sik's life—the two men are forced to work together to uncover the truth, despite their mutual distrust and hidden secrets.
