Best Chicken

Best Chicken (Korean: 최고의 치킨; RR: Choigoui Chikin) is a South Korean television drama series that aired in 2019. The series was directed by Lee Seung-hoon and written by Park Chan-young. It was broadcast on the networks MBN and Dramax, spanning 12 episodes.

Plot

The story follows Park Choi-go (Park Sun-ho), a man who leaves his corporate job to pursue his dream of opening a chicken restaurant. He selects a bathhouse owned by the grandfather of Seo Bo-a (Kim So-hye) as his business location. Bo-a, an aspiring webtoon writer who lives above the bathhouse, is a recluse who avoids social interaction. To secure a rent discount, the grandfather arranges for Bo-a to work at the new restaurant, forcing the two protagonists to interact.

Production

Filming for the series commenced in September 2018. The show occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 23:00 time slot on MBN, following the conclusion of Fluttering Warning and preceding Loss Time Life: The Last Chance.
