Beethoven Virus

Beethoven Virus (Korean: 베토벤 바이러스) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from September 10 to November 12, 2008. The drama, directed by Lee Jae-Kyu with an assistant director Jang Joon-Ho, explores the lives of amateur musicians who come together to form an orchestra under the guidance of a demanding and perfectionist conductor.

Plot

The narrative centers on the formation of an orchestra comprised of individuals who have previously retired from or abandoned their musical aspirations. The group is led by Kang Ma-E, a brilliant but notoriously difficult conductor. As the members navigate the challenges of working together, they strive to overcome personal obstacles and pursue their passion for music, ultimately finding mutual respect and personal growth.
