Baek began her acting career appearing in independent and feature films such as Bandhobi and Missing Person in 2009. She subsequently expanded into television series, gaining broader attention through her role in the sitcom High Kick! 3 (2011–2012) and historical dramas like Empress Ki (2013–2014), where she portrayed Empress Danashri.
