Bad Papa (South Korean TV Series)

Bad Papa (Korean: 배드파파; RR: Baedeupapa) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the MBC network in 2018. The series, directed by Jin Chang-Gyu and written by Kim Sung-Min, consists of 32 episodes.

Plot

The story follows Yoo Ji-Cheol, portrayed by Jang Hyuk, a former top-tier boxer who suffers a sudden and catastrophic loss of his fame and fortune. Struggling to maintain his role as a father and husband, he makes the difficult decision to enter the world of mixed martial arts in an attempt to regain control of his life and provide for his family.

Bad Papa aired from October 1 to November 27, 2018, occupying the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot on MBC. It followed the series Risky Romance and was succeeded by Less than Evil. The broadcast schedule experienced occasional adjustments due to the airing of postseason Korean baseball games, which necessitated the consolidation of episodes on certain dates.
