Bad Guys Always Die (2015 Film)
Bad Guys Always Die (Chinese: Huàidàn bié rě wǒ; Korean: Nappeun-nomeun bandeusi jungneunda) is a 2015 black comedy action film directed by Sun Hao. The film is a collaborative production between China and South Korea, featuring a cast that includes both Chinese and South Korean actors.
Plot
The story follows a group of friends from China who travel to Jeju Island, South Korea. During their visit, they encounter a mysterious local woman, leading to a series of unexpected events.
Production
The film was produced by Feng Xiaogang and Kang Je-Gyu. Principal photography commenced in March 2015 on Jeju Island, South Korea. The film features dialogue in both Mandarin and Korean.
Release
Bad Guys Always Die held its world premiere on October 2, 2015, at the 20th Busan International Film Festival as part of the "A Window on Asian Cinema" section. It was subsequently released in theaters in China on November 27, 2015, and in South Korea on February 4, 2016.
