Ayako Kitagawa

Ayako Kitagawa (Japanese: 北川亜矢子) is a Japanese screenwriter known for her work across television drama series and feature films.

Career and Major Works

Kitagawa has contributed scripts to numerous Japanese television series and cinematic productions spanning multiple genres, ranging from romantic comedies and dramatic series to adaptations of manga and true stories. Some of her prominent television writing credits include My Second Aoharu (TBS, 2023), Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun (TV Tokyo, 2022), and the live-action television adaptation of Prison School (TBS-MBS, 2015).
