Artificial City (Korean: 공작도시; RR: Gongjakdosi) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on JTBC from December 8, 2021, to February 10, 2022. The series, which consists of 20 episodes, was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 22:30 time slot.

Plot Synopsis

The narrative centers on Yoon Jae-Hee (played by Soo-Ae), the second daughter-in-law of the family that controls the powerful Sungjin Group. Jae-Hee manages the art gallery Space Jin. Despite having a long-term partner in her past, she chose to marry Jung Joon-Hyeok (Kim Kang-Woo), a man born out of wedlock to the chaebol family. Driven by ambition, Jae-Hee seeks to elevate her husband to the presidency of South Korea. To achieve this, she navigates complex political alliances, including cooperation with the public prosecutor general, while engaging in a power struggle against her own in-laws.

The series was directed by Jeon Chang-Geun and written by Son Se-Dong. It occupied the JTBC Wednesday and Thursday 22:30 time slot, following the conclusion of Reflection of You. It was succeeded in the same time slot by Thirty-Nine on February 16, 2022.
