Arang (2006 Film)

Arang (Korean: 아랑) is a 2006 South Korean horror film directed by Ahn Sang-Hoon. The film follows a police investigation into a series of inexplicable deaths, blending elements of crime procedural with supernatural horror. It was released in South Korea on June 28, 2006.

Plot

The story centers on Detective So-Young, played by Song Yoon-A, who returns to active duty following a period of suspension. She is partnered with a rookie officer, Hyun-Ki, portrayed by Lee Dong-Wook. The duo is tasked with solving a bizarre string of murders where victims appear to die from internal chemical reactions. As the investigation progresses, they discover a connection to an email sent to the victims and a tragic event that occurred a decade earlier involving a salt storehouse.
