Premise
In response to the increasing prevalence of social media-related crimes, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department establishes a specialized division known as the "Finger Murder" Countermeasure Office. The unit is tasked with investigating cases involving online defamation, harassment, and the real-world consequences of digital interactions. The detectives assigned to this department are portrayed as individuals who have fallen out of favor with the traditional career paths within the police force.
