An Pan-Seok (born 1961) was a prominent South Korean television and film director. Throughout his career in the South Korean entertainment industry, he directed numerous acclaimed television drama series and feature films, earning notable industry recognition such as the Best Director award at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Career

An Pan-Seok directed a wide range of television dramas spanning several decades, contributing significantly to the South Korean broadcasting landscape. His directorial work includes notable series such as Behind The White Tower (2007), Secret Affair (2014), Heard It Through the Grapevine (2015), Something in the Rain (2018), One Spring Night (2019), and The Midnight Romance in Hagwon (2024). In addition to his extensive television work, he also directed and wrote the 2006 feature film South Of The Border.

Awards and Recognition

In 2014, An received the Best Director award in the television category at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards for his work on the JTBC drama series Secret Affair.
