Alone in Love (2006 South Korean Television Series)

Alone in Love (Korean: 연애시대; RR: Yeonae Sidae) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from April 3 to May 23, 2006. The drama, consisting of 16 episodes, was directed by Han Ji-Seung and Lee Min-Cheol, with a screenplay by Park Yeon-Sun. The series is based on the 1996 novel Renai Jidai by Japanese author Hisashi Nozawa.

Plot

The story follows Lee Dong-Jin (played by Kam Woo-Sung) and Yoo Eun-Ho (played by Son Ye-Jin), a couple who divorced two years prior to the start of the series. Despite their separation, the two maintain a complex, ongoing connection, frequently meeting under various pretexts. Their interactions often center around a donut shop where they once spent time as a couple, as they continue to monitor each other's personal lives. Although they remain deeply in love, their pride and past grievances lead them to attempt to set one another up with other people.
