Almost Che (2012 Film)
Almost Che (Korean: 강철대오: 구국의 철가방; RR: Kangchul Dae-Oh: Kugukui Chulgabang) is a 2012 South Korean comedy film directed and written by Yook Sang-Hyo. The film stars Kim In-Kwon as a Chinese restaurant deliveryman who finds himself caught up in the political fervor of the 1980s.

Plot
The story follows Kang Dae-Oh (Kim In-Kwon), a deliveryman who frequently visits a women's university dormitory. He develops a romantic interest in Seo Ye-Rin (Yoo Da-In), a student activist. In an attempt to win her affection, Dae-Oh pretends to be a participant in the student movement. His deception leads him into the center of a historical event: the 1985 takeover of the U.S. Cultural Center in Seoul.
Production
The film is inspired by the real-life sit-in protest conducted by university activists at the U.S. Cultural Center in Seoul in 1985. Principal photography for the film commenced in May 2012. It was distributed by Lotte Entertainment and released in South Korea on October 25, 2012.
