Age of Youth 2

Age of Youth 2 (Korean: 청춘시대 2; RR: Chungchoonshidae 2) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on JTBC from August 25 to October 7, 2017. It serves as the second season to the 2016 series Hello, My Twenties!. The drama follows the lives of five young women residing in a shared house known as the Belle Epoque.

Plot

Set one year after the events of the first season, the residents of the Belle Epoque navigate personal challenges, career aspirations, and emotional growth. Jin-Myung (Han Ye-Ri) returns from China and secures employment. Ye-Eun (Han Seung-Yeon) attempts to return to university following the trauma of an abusive relationship. Ji-Won (Park Eun-Bin) continues her search for a romantic partner, while Eun-Jae (Ji-Woo) deals with the emotional aftermath of a breakup. The group welcomes a new housemate, Jo Eun (Choi A-Ra), who moves into the room previously occupied by Kang Yi-Na (Ryu Hwa-Young).

Production

The series was directed by Lee Tae-Gon and written by Park Yeon-Sun. The first script reading took place on June 7, 2017, at the JTBC building in Sangam, Seoul. During production, the role of Yoo Eun-Jae was recast, with Ji-Woo replacing Park Hye-Soo, who was unable to participate due to scheduling conflicts. Additionally, Onew was initially cast as Kwon Ho-Chang but withdrew from the project on August 16, 2017.
