Aengdooya Yeonaehaja

Aengdooya Yeonaehaja (Korean: 앵두야 연애하자), released internationally as Miss Cherry’s Love Puzzle, is a 2013 South Korean drama film directed and written by Jung Ha-Rin. The film explores the lives of four female friends who share a living space and navigate the challenges of their personal and romantic lives.

Plot

The story centers on Aeng-Doo, an aspiring writer who lives with her three friends: So-Young, Yoon-Jin, and Na-Eun. Despite their close living arrangements, the four women have distinct personalities and experiences. A common thread among them is their current status as single women. The narrative shifts when Aeng-Doo discovers a rejected manuscript from a spring literary contest on the street, an event that begins to influence the trajectory of her life and the lives of her housemates.

Production

The film was produced by Min Kyoung-Jo, Choi Se-Mi, and Ha Ji-Hye. It was distributed by Mountain Pictures and features cinematography by Kim Ji-Hoon. The production has a total runtime of 99 minutes and was released in South Korea on June 6, 2013.
