Adamas (South Korean Television Series)
Adamas is a South Korean television series that aired on the network tvN from July 27 to September 15, 2022. The mystery drama consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 22:30 time slot.
Plot
The story follows twin brothers Ha Woo-Shin and Song Soo-Hyun, both portrayed by actor Ji Sung. Ha Woo-Shin is a successful mystery novelist, while his brother, Song Soo-Hyun, serves as a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors' Office. The narrative centers on a traumatic event from their childhood 22 years prior, when their stepfather was murdered. The brothers eventually discover that their biological father was convicted of the crime and sentenced to death. Convinced that their father was framed, they embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind the murder and the mysterious object known as the "Adamas."
Throughout their investigation, they cross paths with Eun Hye-Soo, the daughter-in-law of the powerful Haesong Group, who assists Ha Woo-Shin, and Kim Seo-Hee, a dedicated reporter for TNN who holds information critical to the brothers' search for justice.
Production
The series was directed by Park Seung-Woo and written by Choi Tae-Kang. It replaced the drama Eve in its time slot and was subsequently followed by Love in Contract.
