A Week Before I Die

A Week Before I Die (Korean: 내가 죽기 일주일 전) is a South Korean fantasy-romance drama series that premiered in 2025. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Seo Eun-Chae, which was published by Golden Bough on March 2, 2018.

Plot

The story follows Jung Hee-Wan, a 24-year-old woman living as a recluse who has lost her will to live. Her life changes when she encounters her childhood friend and first love, Kim Ram-Woo, who died six years earlier in an accident. Ram-Woo has returned as a grim reaper and informs Hee-Wan that she has only one week left to live. He offers her a chance to die peacefully if she calls his name three times, but Hee-Wan, reluctant to be separated from him again, refuses. Instead, the two spend her final week together completing a bucket list.
