Background and Production

The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Sesuji, which was published on September 4, 2024, by Poplar Publishing. The screenplay was adapted by Masahiro Yamaura, and the production features cinematography by Tai Ouchi. Producers include Ikumi Taguchi, Koki Sato, Yuna Shiraishi, and Motoki Ishida.

Plot Synopsis

A group of six university students—including Shota Murai—hears rumors regarding a haunted cemetery featuring a cursed tree and decides to visit the location. The following day, one of the students disappears. In the aftermath, inexplicable and terrifying events begin to occur around the remaining group members, driving them toward psychological breaking points as they attempt to uncover what happened during their visit to the cemetery.
