Plot

The story follows Chae Hi-ju, a dedicated doctor, and Gong Sang-du, a powerful gang leader. Their paths cross under unusual circumstances, leading to a deep emotional bond that challenges their respective social worlds. Despite their growing affection, Sang-du attempts to distance himself from Hi-ju to protect her from the dangers inherent in his lifestyle and the threats posed by rival criminal organizations. As external pressures and personal tragedies mount, the couple struggles to maintain their connection while facing the consequences of their choices.
