A Poem a Day (Korean: 시를 잊은 그대에게; RR: Shireul Izeun Geudaeege) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2018. The series focuses on the daily lives and professional challenges of a group of medical staff, including physical therapists, radiological technologists, and trainees working in a hospital setting.

Plot

The narrative centers on Woo Bo-Young, a physical therapist with three years of experience who once aspired to be a poet but pursued a medical career due to financial circumstances. She works alongside Ye Jae-Wook, a skilled physical therapist and educator who joins the hospital as a team leader. The story also follows Shin Min-Ho, a trainee who lacks interest in physical therapy, having been pressured into the field by his physician parents after failing to gain admission to medical school.

Production

The series was directed by Han Sang-Jae and written by Myung Soo-Hyun, Baek Sun-Woo, and Choi Bo-Rim. The first script reading for the production took place in January 2018 in Sangam, South Korea. The drama aired for 16 episodes from March 26 to May 15, 2018, occupying the Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot on tvN. It followed the series Cross and was succeeded by About Time.
