A Place in the Sun (South Korean TV Series)

A Place in the Sun (Korean: 태양의 계절; RR: Taeyangui Kyejeol) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from June 3 to November 1, 2019. The series consists of 102 episodes and was broadcast in the network's Monday–Friday 19:50 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Kim Yoo-wol (played by Oh Chang-suk), an orphan who overcomes his circumstances to become a certified public accountant. After a near-death experience, he assumes a new identity as Oh Tae-yang. His former girlfriend, Yoon Si-wol (played by Yoon So-yi), believes he is dead and eventually begins working at the Yangji Group, where she encounters the man now known as Oh Tae-yang.

Production

The series was directed by Kim Won-yong and written by Lee Eun-joo. It replaced the drama Left-Handed Wife in its time slot and was followed by Gracious Revenge on November 4, 2019. During the Chuseok holiday in September 2019, the broadcast schedule was adjusted, with episodes 71 and 72 being delayed from their original air dates to September 16 and 17, 2019.
