A Model Family

A Model Family (Korean: 모범가족; RR: Mobeomgajok) is a South Korean crime thriller television series that premiered on Netflix on August 12, 2022. The series consists of 10 episodes and was directed by Kim Jin-Woo and Park Yoo-Young, with a screenplay written by Lee Jae-Gon.

Plot

The story centers on Park Dong-Ha (Jung Woo), an ordinary man struggling to support his family while facing severe financial difficulties and the potential collapse of his marriage to Kang Eun-Ju (Yoon Jin-Seo). His life takes a dangerous turn when he discovers a vehicle containing a large sum of money. This discovery forces him into a perilous situation involving Ma Kwang-Chul (Park Hee-Soon), a high-ranking member of a drug trafficking organization. Simultaneously, Detective Kang Joo-Hyun (Park Ji-Yeon), the leader of an anti-drug crime unit, begins an investigation into both Dong-Ha and the criminal syndicate.
