A Hundred Year Legacy (Korean: 백년의 유산; RR: Baeknyeonui Yoosan) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from January 5 to June 23, 2013. The series, directed by Joo Sung-Woo and written by Koo Hyun-Sook, consists of 50 episodes and was broadcast during the Saturday and Sunday 21:45 time slot.
Background and Production
The series centers on a family operating a traditional noodle house in a suburb of Seoul that has been passed down through three generations. During its development, the drama was known by the working title Samdaejjae Kooksoojib, which translates to "Third Generation Noodle House," before being finalized as Baeknyeonui Yoosan, or A Hundred Year Legacy.

Principal photography commenced on December 4, 2012, at a dress shop in Gangnam, Seoul. The opening scene featured lead actress Eugene, portraying the character Min Chae-Won, as she selects a dress for a company event hosted by her husband's employer, specifically seeking a garment to conceal a scar on her neck.

A Hundred Year Legacy succeeded the drama May Queen in the MBC weekend time slot. Following its conclusion in June 2013, the slot was occupied by the series Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident.
