A Daughter Just Like You (Korean: 딱 너 같은 딸; RR: Ddak Neo Gadeun Ttal) is a South Korean television series that aired on the MBC network. The drama centers on the complex relationships between families, specifically focusing on the dynamics between in-laws.

Production

The series was directed by Oh Hyun-Jong and Park Won-Gook, with a screenplay written by Ka Sung-Jin. The first script reading for the production took place on April 14, 2015, at the MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea.

Plot

The story follows Hong Ae-Ja (played by Kim Hye-Ok), a successful host at a home shopping channel. She is the mother of three accomplished daughters: Ji-Sung (Woo Hee-Jin), In-Sung (Lee Soo-Kyung), and Hee-Sung (Jung Hye-Sung). The narrative explores the interconnected lives of Hong Ae-Ja's family as they navigate relationships with the families of So Pan-Seok (Jung Bo-Suk) and Heo Eun-Sook (Park Hae-Mi).
