A Bloody Lucky Day

A Bloody Lucky Day (Korean: 운수 오진 날; RR: Woonsoo Ojin Nal) is a South Korean thriller television series that aired in 2023. The drama is based on the webcomic of the same name by Aporia, which was serialized on Naver between May 10, 2020, and October 24, 2020.

Plot

The story follows Oh Taek (Lee Sung-Min), a taxi driver who experiences a dream featuring pigs—a traditional omen of good fortune. His day takes an unexpected turn when a passenger named Geum Hyuk-Soo (Yoo Yeon-Seok) offers him a million won to drive him to the port city of Mokpo. Unbeknownst to Oh Taek, his passenger is a murderer attempting to flee the country by stowing away on a boat. Simultaneously, Hwang Soon-Kyu (Lee Jung-Eun) begins a desperate pursuit to find the man who murdered her son.

Production and Release

Directed by Pil Gam-Seong, the series consists of 10 episodes. It was broadcast on tvN and streamed on TVING. The series occupied the Monday and Tuesday 22:30 time slot on tvN, following the conclusion of Twinkling Watermelon and preceding Marry My Husband, which premiered on January 1, 2024.
