58th Baeksang Arts Awards

The 58th Baeksang Arts Awards was an annual ceremony held on May 6, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea. The event, presented by IS PLUS Corp., recognized outstanding achievements in the South Korean film and television industries. The ceremony was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Bae Suzy, and Park Bo-gum.

Film Category Highlights

The film Escape from Mogadishu was a significant presence at the ceremony, with director Ryoo Seung-wan receiving the Grand Prize (Daesang). The film also secured the award for Best Film.
