New Talent and Technical Achievements
The ceremony also highlighted emerging talent and technical craft. Cho Hyun-chul was recognized with the Best New Director award for The Dream Songs, a film for which he also won the Best Screenplay award. In the acting categories, Noh Sang-hyun received the Best New Actor award for Love in the Big City, and Park Ju-hyun was named Best New Actress for her performance in Drive. The award for Best Cinematography and Lighting was presented to Lee Mo-gae and Lee Seong-hwan for their work on Exhuma.
