34th Blue Dragon Film Awards
The 34th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony took place on November 22, 2013, in Seoul, South Korea. Organized by the newspaper Sports Chosun, the event recognized outstanding achievements in the South Korean film industry throughout the year. The ceremony was hosted by actors Yu Jun-sang and Kim Hye-soo.

Major Award Winners
The drama Hope, directed by Lee Joon-ik, received the award for Best Film. Bong Joon-ho was honored with the Best Director award for his work on the science fiction film Snowpiercer. In the acting categories, Hwang Jung-min won Best Actor for his performance in New World, while Han Hyo-joo was awarded Best Actress for her role in Cold Eyes.
Supporting and New Talent
The awards also recognized supporting performances and emerging talent in the industry. Lee Jung-jae received the Best Supporting Actor award for The Face Reader, and Ra Mi-ran was named Best Supporting Actress for her role in Hope. Kim Byung-woo won the Best New Director award for The Terror Live. The Best New Actor and Best New Actress awards were presented to Yeo Jin-goo for Hwayi: A Monster Boy and Park Ji-soo for Mai Ratima, respectively.
Technical Achievements
The ceremony acknowledged excellence in technical filmmaking, including the Best Screenplay award, which went to Kim Ji-hye and Jo Joong-hoon for their work on Hope. The Best Cinematography award was presented to Choi Young-hwan for The Berlin File.
