33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards
The 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony was held on November 30, 2012, in Seoul, South Korea. Presented by the newspaper Sports Chosun, the event recognized excellence in South Korean cinema released during the preceding year. The ceremony was hosted by actors Yu Jun-sang and Kim Hye-soo.

Major Award Winners
The film Pieta, directed by Kim Ki-duk, received the award for Best Film. The Best Director honor was awarded to Chung Ji-young for his work on Unbowed. In the acting categories, Choi Min-sik won Best Actor for his performance in Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time, while Lim Soo-jung received the Best Actress award for her role in All About My Wife.
Supporting Roles and New Talent
The supporting acting awards were presented to Ryu Seung-ryong for All About My Wife and Moon Jeong-hee for Deranged. Recognition for emerging talent included the Best New Director award for Kim Hong-sun (Traffickers), Best New Actor for Cho Jung-seok (Architecture 101), and Best New Actress for Kim Go-eun (Eungyo). The award for Best Screenplay was given to Yun Jong-bin for Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time.
