3 Nen A Kumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu (Japanese: 3年A組-今から皆さんは、人質です-), often referred to by its English title Mr. Hiiragi's Homeroom, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on NTV from January 6 to March 10, 2019. The series consists of 10 episodes and falls within the school mystery genre.

The narrative centers on Ibuki Hiiragi, an art teacher who has been employed at his high school for two years. Ten days before the students are scheduled to graduate, Hiiragi takes his entire class of 29 students, including Sakura Kayano, hostage. The series explores the motivations behind this drastic action and the unfolding psychological tension within the classroom.

Production

The series was directed by Naoko Komuro, Yuma Suzuki, and Itaru Mizuno, with a screenplay written by Shogo Muto. It occupied the Sunday 22:30 time slot on NTV, succeeding From Today, It's My Turn!! and preceding Your Turn to Kill, which premiered on April 14, 2019.

Cast
