200 Pounds Beauty (2006 Film)
200 Pounds Beauty (Korean: 미녀는 괴로워; RR: Minyeo-neun Goerowo) is a 2006 South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Kim Yong-hwa. The film is based on the Japanese manga series Kannasan Daiseikou Desu! by Yumiko Suzuki.

Plot
The story follows Han-na, a woman with a gifted singing voice who works as a ghost singer for a popular but tone-deaf pop star named Amy. Despite her talent, Han-na struggles with her self-image and her unrequited feelings for the music producer, Sang-joon. After experiencing a humiliating public incident at a birthday party, Han-na disappears for a year. She eventually returns as "Jenny," a woman who has undergone extensive plastic surgery to transform her appearance.
Production
The film was produced by KM Culture and REALies, with a production budget of approximately US$4 million. It was distributed by Showbox and released in South Korea on December 24, 2006. The lead actress, Kim Ah-joong, performed all the vocal tracks for her character, including the film's title track, "Maria," which was originally recorded by the American band Blondie.
