1st The Seoul Awards (2017)

The 1st The Seoul Awards was an inaugural South Korean entertainment ceremony held on October 27, 2017, in Seoul. Organized by the media outlet Sports Seoul, the event was established to recognize excellence in both the film and television industries. The ceremony was hosted by Jun Hyun-moo and Kim A-joong.

Film Awards

The film category honored outstanding performances and productions released in the preceding year. Anarchist from Colony received the award for Best Film. Notable acting awards included Best Actor for Song Kang-ho for his performance in A Taxi Driver and Best Actress for Na Moon-hee for her role in I Can Speak.

Television Awards

In the television category, the drama Stranger (broadcast on tvN) was named Best Drama. Acting honors were awarded to Ji Sung for his role in Defendant (Best Actor) and Park Bo-young for her performance in Strong Girl Bong-soon (Best Actress).
